There's gold, and it's haunting and haunting; It's luring me on as of old; Yet it isn't the gold that I'm wanting So much as just finding the gold. It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder, It's the forests where silence has lease; It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder, It's the stillness that fills me with peace.
Robert Service

Canada`s Yukon Territory, Gold Rush Country in the far North, where the sled dogs howl and the fishing rods crack. Majestic nature will make all outdoor activities the most unforgettable experience one will ever have. On this site you find links for some adventures and cabin/equipment rental but it's best to contact us for an affordable custom tailored package.

At 483,610 km2 in area, the Yukon is larger than California and covers more area than Belgium, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands combined. 2,000 huskies share this Territory with over 200,000 caribou, 70,000 moose, 17,000 bears, and 5,000 wolfs. Only 32,000 people live in this vast country with two thirds making the capital city Whitehorse their home.
Few roads but mostly pristine wilderness allow for experiences that are uncommon in many other areas of North America.

Be aware, however, that the weather shown is actually for Whitehorse (even though it says Carcross). The weather can be dramatically different than what is reported, enough to put people who believe the report in danger at times.
